Since the early 1970s, the Calgary Spartans Track Club has promoted the development of athletes at all levels. While the club has produced many provincial, national, and Olympic team members, it also strives to develop young talent in our sport.
Today, more than 45 athletes, ranging in age from 12 to 50+, train and complete in disciplines ranging from 60m to decathlon. The club’s four coaches provide quality training in the three main areas of athletics – power, sprints, distance, and junior development. Check out the Coaches section to find out more about training the club offers.
