Simon-Daniel competed in the Midget Provincial Championships July 30-31 in Medicine Hat in Discus, Javelin and Shot Put. First event was Discus, after two standing throws around the 30m mark, he was in third place. He started spinning and threw a 5 meters PB, 37.78m and secured the silver. Second event was Javelin, Simon kept his best throw for the last, 34...m, and with it captured the silver. Last event, Shot Put. He started gliding on the third attempt and threw 12.16m for another silver while putting pressure on the first place thrower.

Simon-Daniel has recently joined the Speed and Power group, training with Rich Hesketh. He is looking forward to improve those marks and to a strong showing at the Western Canadian Midget Championships, July 11-12, in Medicine Hat.
